Certified Hand Therapist: A CHT is a PT or OT by profession with at least three years of experience, plus 4,000 hours of hand therapy practice (upper extremity rehabilitation). A CHT must have passed a certification examination that demonstrates knowledge of all areas of hand therapy before being granted the right to use the CHT designation. A hand therapy specialist provides:

At Hamilton Hand to Shoulder we believe that, while athletes/patients may have the same diagnosis, no two injuries are the same and shouldn’t be treated as such. We will determine the best course of action based on your individual symptoms and not the generic approach you may find when looking up a diagnosis online. We may modify your treatment plan each visit to ensure that you achieve your desired result as quickly and safely as possible.
