Hamilton PT is by far the best physical therapy group I have ever experienced. 7 weeks ago, I suffered a dislocated shoulder and torn labrum. Over these past couple months, Billy, Jen, Molly, Dani, Sierra, and Lynn - literally every single one of the PTs (and even Kelly at the front desk!) - at Hamilton PT went out of their way to treat me with knowledge, professionalism, and care. I'm happy to walk out of here for the last time with a fully recovered shoulder and a group of folks I can call friends. Highly recommend Hamilton PT!

Hamilton PT is far and away the best physical therapist group I’ve ever gone to. They are professional and knowledgeable and they don’t treat you like a number. They listened to me and help me recover from a very serious accident. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you again Hamilton PT!!

I recently had shoulder surgery consisting of rotator cuff and bicep tendon repair. My care and experience at Hamilton Physical Therapy has been a true 5-star experience. Billy, Jen and Conner all took time and focused on every detail of my shoulder rehabilitation. Along with exercises they took the time to educate so I knew not only the how, but also the why.I was also impressed with the entire staff. The office atmosphere is enjoyable. It appears all their patients actually enjoy the time spent in PT, I know I did! The practice manger Dani has created a nice professional balance in the clinic. The patient care coordinator Debbie made scheduling seamless and navigating those difficult insurance questions easy. The lead tech Gavin is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about your progression. My experience is I left the final treatment feeling great and more educated about my bodies needs going forward.

Catch 'em doin' right”I decided to give Hamilton Physical Therapy a try. Why? I have experienced several area physical therapy businesses in the area over the years after sustaining injuries and needing treatment. When things happen that impact the quality of care we receive, we realize we need to look elsewhere. To begin, the first blanket statement is that when receiving care and treatment, number one on the list for the provider is the patient is the focus, period. I like it when I catch someone doing something right vs. doing something wrong. To explain why I needed to change my physical therapy provider, it is ironically easier to relate a few instances that I have experienced in the past that simply rubbed me the wrong way; forgive the pun, as follows… Begin each item with “I have experienced” …- In other PT settings, generally the entire room would often become a social setting for the staff and it was often relatively loud. I’m no prude, but professionalism is professionalism and there is a time and place for everything. In contrast, at Hamilton, nuances of the employee social atmosphere is relatively limited and the focus is the patient population. And I appreciate a relatively quiet, subdued, yet pleasant tone and atmosphere in the entire room and overall setting. This demonstrated to me the consistent focus on the patient.- In other PT settings, I would be told to “do this exercise” and then there was not a great deal of monitoring and attention toward me until the timer went off, as staff usually meanwhile went into their social mode. They would be shouting across the room (and some rooms were big) while in conversation or entertaining one another. While I was being treated on the table by the DPT and was in mid-sentence asking the DPT a question, a tech came to the table to have a conversation about his college paper that he needed help on. The DPT didn’t tell him to go away but instead I had to lift my arm and say, “do you mind!”In contrast, at Hamilton, I have continued to notice on multiple occasions that the techs are paying direct attention to me during each exercise and constantly look to see that I don’t waiver in each exercise rep. I then have been able to get the most benefit and have had some excellent, intelligent discussions about aspects of the various exercises I’m given. I have been impressed that my DPT STAYS involved even when I am doing my exercises with the techs and both myself and the techs are continuing to learn from DPT expertise. I have continued to observe him along with the techs doing the same for each of his patients…. catching them doing right by the patient. At Hamilton, when I arrived, I was in a lot of pain with a lot that needed attention that was addressed. The entire staff maintained that same level of attention from the first moment onward in a continued professional manner.Debbie at the front desk knows how to do her job. She administratively looks out for the patients with their paperwork and otherwise to facilitate a smooth operation. It is my strong desire and continued hope that Hamilton does not deviate from this level of professional management, as I am so satisfied with my care.D.H. in Ocean Pines
